Some pics I took during my trip to Washington, DC last month. I brought along my M6 and Hasselblad.

Most of the RF pics were taken with the CV 21/4. The one with the girls feeding the pigeons was taken with the CV 40/1.4 and the super wide shots were with the CV 15/4.5

I like! Used to live up there. Haven't had much of a desire to go back, but maybe I should take a camera and go for a few days.

I was thinking the same. Maybe in the fall though.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
Just the normal 80mm CF
The 50mm is just way too heavy to be lugging around everywhere. I figured I had wide angle covered with the M6 anyways.

Good idea. Summer is hot there. Crowds thin out in September, but weather in October is often very good. Anyone who is there when the leaves change color ought to drive up to the mountains for a look. You can be in the upper Shenandoah Valley in an hour or so.
Money can be saved by staying along the outer edges of the subway system. The tradeoff is that you'll spend two hours daily commuting into and out of the city and dealing with rush hour standing-room-only crowds. (However, DC goes to work early and leaves late.)

Hahaha I thought it was just me being Canadian not being used to the heat! And yes, it was brutal for me! The humidity didn't help much either.

Legend has it that the UK once classified D.C. as a hardship post because of the summers. It was, after all, a marsh before the city was laid out.
