Photos Of Rome at Slate Magnum

The Rome that you see there is no more.
True, it is still a mine of historical memories and art masterpieces. There so much that guides don't even mentions monuments that are among the wonders of the world.
But now you will find a place suffocated by pollution, traffic jams, garbage everywhere, skyrocketing criminal rate, illegal immigration, and perhaps the world highest rate of drug consumption.
The communist government, finally collapsed after two years, has pampered criminals, encouraged illegal immigration and drug consumption. The Pope has made complains to the communist mayor about the state of Rome.
Also Rome is a whole huge parking area in the open. So whatever you like to photograph is always hidden by a wall of cars.
If you plan to visit, be prepared and be careful. Ask for info on safety. It can become very dangerous.
Cheers

Ron (Netherlands): I Liked #14 also, the Bruno Barbey photo of two people trying to sqeeze into the tiny Fiat.

And #16 by Herbert List of a small kid running L-R, and a motorcycle with movement blur passing L-R.

Pistach: Thank you for the advice, and information.
