Photos using M3 and 50mm Biotar

not sure where to post this, but here goes..

bought a 50mm 1.4 biotar which was adapted to m mount from thebay, adjusted the shims, modified it to enable close focus and here're some first shots using a m3 and guessing of exposure. tri-x was used, souped in 250ml water with 4ml of rodinal and 2ml of ilfosol, 10 initial inversions, 10 gentle inversions at 10min and standing for another 20 min. the vignetting is because of a filter i've put on, will remove it next time but i like the effect.

this is queen elizabeth hospital in south australia. i was there for a clinical exam and the holding area for my rotation was a section they were renovating. i foud it to be quite charming. :)

I'm glad to read that is the part of the hospital that is being renovated....
 
thank you. i've used some shimming techniques you described at the zi forum :) and i've discovered that aluminium tape makes good shim!
