I just received a Nikon F to u4/3 adapter. I purchased it mainly as a low cost alternative to buying a Panasonic or Olympus macro lens. Now my 30 year old Nikkor Micro 2.8/55 lens will see some use. Here are some shots taken today with the micro Nikkor on a GH3.

Any else been using Nikkors on a u4/3 body?

Lovely photos!

Yes, I have Nikon F to mFT, Nikon F to FT, and Nikon F to M-bayonet adapters. I use my Nikkor micro-55/3.5, 50/1.2, 85/1.8, and micro-105/2.8 on Olympus E-1, Olympus E-PL1, and Ricoh GXR cameras, as well as on a Nikon F. Likely with a NEX 6 soon too, although the new E-P5 has me tempted. :)

Fabulous and thoughtful compositions.
Old lenses are excellent still-life photo takers.
I'm sorry this one is not from my Pen E-P2, but from Fuji S3.

These are great shots! My first adapter for my G1 was the Nikon-u4/3:

Nikkor 50mm/2 last pre-Ai version:

Very nice, I will have to give my 50/2 a try. I also have an E-series 50/1.8. I took a few tests shots with a pre-Ai 105/2.5 - looks very promising.

very nice...really like the 2nd. shot!

I don't do flower pictures too often, so this is a quick snap ... the cactus put out eight blooms this spring. They're huge, they only last a day or so.

This lens is a solid favorite of mine for GXR-M and mFT adaptation. :)

I was never ever a Nikon guy until today when I picked up a pristine Exchange Post S2 with a 5cm 1.4. but that's off topic. I liked these latest photos a lot in the gallery, and am glad to know how you're getting them done.

I have used my OMZ 50/3.5 macro in m43, and now that I have a cheap GX1 on the way to complement my EP1, I'm going to look for opportunities to emulate what you did with those stellar low-light hardware images. Though I don't see myself going beyond the S2 in Nikon territory....

I purchased almost all of my Nikon SLR gear in 1973. It is taking me a while to again get used to the CCW twist for mounting Nikkor lenses versus the CW direction for the u4/3 adapter. It seemed very normal to me when I was only shooting with Nikon SLRs.
