Photo's with Equipment that you are Proud to Own.

I get your drift, Brian...

I am very proud of owning my late dad's Contax over the last 25 years. It is not everyday that you get to do this with the same camera and lens, 56 years apart:

Wow! "Not every day" indeed. Thanks for sharing, Santiago!

I am most proud when I can take any camera I have at my disposal and make something of value, which would many and few...

Santiago, thanks for sharing.

really nice. I admit I'd be tempted to retake that shot with the same framing and work on the color tones to get a new 'version' of it. There is a shot from me and a cousin we took when around 4 or 5, we then had it retaken when we were around 18. now that we are 27, maybe we should take a new one hehe

Konica Auto S2. It was very clean when I got it, but it still needed a bit of work. I fixed the meter circuit and the frame counter, and tuned the infinity and rangefinder focus.

The KAS2 is a fabulous, magical camera.

Wow, where was the first photo taken? That looks amazing!

Fed-2 with Industar-26m:

The reason for me being proud of this camera is that I spent quite a long time fixing and tuning it.

The colours in this one are a bit strange beacause it is from my experimental roll: Fuji Superia X-tra 400 that I sent to be developed in E-6.

One more thing: I had lots of help from people at RFF when fixing the camera (from a thread where I asked some questions and from other threads like some great tutorials on fixing FSU cameras etc.). So, thanks everyone!

I wouldn´t say I´m proud to own anything. I´m proud of some of my accomplishments, like my children for instance.

However, if I was to choose a piece of gear I´m very happy with and would probably not ever want to let go, it would be the R-D1. I just like taking pictures with it, colour or B+W, doesn´t matter.

I didn´t mean to kill off this thread. I understand pride in ownership, I just enjoy ownership more than I take pride in it.

There are several pieces of gear that I am very "proud" of owning, in the sense that I still give them the use they deserve, however I feel this one is a most remarkable accomplishment in modern photography and still a standard to beat: Hasselblad SWC/M with its 38/4.5 Biogon

Well, I know that I will remember it. A wonderful image.

Great photo, unfortunately it makes me want a Hasselblad SWC/M even more. I'm curious, how often do you find yourself using the SWC/M? As much as I'd love one, I can't help but think I'd be better off with either a good Nikon or 4x5 ultra-wide angle lens.
