Photos with Words

Your friend might be right - in the sense, that your photos get boring, but not in the sense, that you should necessarily write :D I am not trying to be rude, rather what I mean, is that you post too many photos, which to me do not look sufficiently selected. What happens, is that before one encounters a good photo - and there are some I like a lot, one has to look through several, that look just like random snaps. I think you might benefit greatly from reading this:

On a flip side, if you feel like making a critique of my blog, you are welcome

Thanks Mfogiel! Oh I would never take a critique as being rude. I agree with you, I do need to edit more. I find it very difficult to edit down my own work, because as that link you sent (thanks for that) says, I am too emotionally attached. When I work a job, I find it much easier, because I just submit a rough edit, and the art director picks from there. But, as they say... I need to let go! I like the part about starting out thinking they are all crap, and trying to find a good one.

I like your blog. I think the same might apply, but to a lesser extent. I really like quite a few, and then some fail to grab me. For example, the balloon shadow in from of Hermes store. Yes, I love! Ashtray king, I get it, but not so interesting. But overall I think you have a great eye!

I´m completely for you writing something under your pics. The storytelling works so much better, and I love pics for the stories they tell.
