PhotoStudio in Mac problem

I used PC for many years and when I bought Canoscan 8800f I used the software that came with the scanner, Arcsoft PhotoStudio 5.5. I also used Vuescan but I had less problems with the Photostudio.

Now I´m using Mac and installed my PhotoStudio software with no problems. I open the software and as soon as I start scanning the software closes and I get this....

I have updated the software but still the same problem.

I like this software better then Vuescan and Silverfast cause it gives me the result I want in a simple way.

Any idea what can be wrong?

I'd try rebuilding your disk permissions with Disk Utility. Also, have you updated your Canon 8800f software?

did both and now it works fine
