Does anyone have a pic of a well used Billingham Hadley (or Hadley Pro)? I would love to see how these look after being 'broken-in" after a few years of daily service.

Thanks

I've had a black Hadley for 2 years. It goes everywhere with me, and I mean everywhere (it's even over my shoulder in my avatar here). I'm a city worker, and a dad, so perhaps not the sort of jungle explorer that might give such a bag a really hard time. My Hadley really looks almost as good as new.

No photo I'm afraid but I've been using my khakhi Hadley Pro for about a year now (to work every day &c.) and it's still nice.

Apart from a large blue patch on the back from my jeans :)

Had mine for around 5 years and has been used a lot but still looks new! If you are looking for something that starts to look worn then don't buy a Billingham!

I do not have a photo but I can say that I have a khaki Hadley Pro which looks very nice in that traditional British way. Its about 10 years old and has been used quite a lot. As an aside, I have found it necessary to clean it from time to time - something that I usually do with a liquid wool wash dissolved in warm water, a soft nail brush and the bag stuffed with towels to keep its shape while cleaning. It is then rinsed with clean warm water and hung up to dry slowly. I find it best to go over the entire bag as spot cleaning is inclined to leave rings of dirt around the clean area and never looks right. This works a treat removing all but the most resistant stains. If it were not for this, I think my khaki one would be as black as the one pictured else where in this thread. As it is, it still looks near new.
