A couple of pictures from my Fujica Compact 35. These were taken on auto-exposure and I think they it did quite well with the snow and white church. I only removed dust. No other processing. 1200 dpi scan of the negatives.
I had the film processed by Vermont Color and I have to say that I am not pleased. The negatives were cut on a slant (that explains the brown edge on the church pic) and it looked like the film was not cleaned prior to printing.
I am pleased with the pictures. Sharper than I had hoped for. Nice, easy to use camera.

How do you like the camera? I have the sister camera, the Compact 35 Deluxe. really impressed with the lens and ergonomics.

I really like the camera. Focusing is a bit of a guess since you just have a scale in the view finder. These shots were in bright light so the aperture was stopped down pretty far and focus did not seem to matter much. I'll put another roll of film through it in other lighting conditions to further test the focus and meter. I can see me using this for street photography because of its ease of use.

I've got a GER which has a rangefinder, and found it to be a good little camera with one exception: the lens. There is some really wicked distortion on the edges which most times can just be cropped out if you center on the frame. But if the image center moves towards the edge, then you just have to live with it.
