Hello Erik, how do you find Bergger Pancro 400 and your views on it. I like the shadow detail, but I also find it fussy. Lately I developed this film with Rodinal semi stand development, 1:100 @ 60 mins, two rolls in the same tank and yet both seemed to turn out differently?!? I know Rodinal is a grainy developer with 400 speed film. I will use D-76 another time to see if I get "cleaner" shadows.

Hi Teddy,

Bergger Pancro is quite nice for wet printing, but not for scanning. When I scan Bergger Pancro 400 I get very grainy results.
D76 is a very good developer. If you want finer grain, use Perceptol. Rodinal often gives grainy results.
Good luck! Post your pictures on Bergger Pancro 400 here!

Erik.

Fantastic, thanks for the tips. Will try Perceptol.

Yes it is, just outside Tunbridge.

I’m surprised you’ve heard of it, the reserve is usually only if interest to botanists and orchid nuts!

I went there with an oyster farmer who propagates orchids as a hobby...

I love the contrast in the grass in the photo. Keep it up.

Marty
