Pink filter

I got this small OMAG series pink filter attached to camera I bought at a street market. Can someone tell me what is it for? What kind of effect should I expect and when should I use it?
The glass is in the attached picture (arrow) without the metal mount rings that came with it.

Thanks. It came with the original OMAG rings with the inscription R27, if it helps. But I still do not know what is it intended for...

Probably used to warm up old Kodachrome/Ektachrome slide film, or flash (UV Blues)
