Hello,
Yesterday i picked up a Plaubel 67 from post office.
All seemed perfect, but when i put it in my right eye i found something strange in the viewfinder, a kind of brown spot that make the viewfinder dark...i use the camera all day..but it's a little annoying.
Just wandering if it's a common problem and if it's easy to repair..
If not i'll have to return it back..

Thanks in advance!

Mine certainly does not have this, and it is clearly in the viewfinder itself. I cannot say whether it is easily repaired, but I would say that the seller should have told you. So my trust would have been broken, and I would return it unless I was sure there was nothing else wrong with the camera and it is an easy repair. If there is even the slightest doubt, no matter how beautiful the camera is, I'd return it

I currently have two of the 67's and neither of them have this issue. I bought them both new and they have been used heavily.
From looking at the lines on your image I'm wondering if the template for the frames has come unlaminated.

I've owned many through the years, 67, 67w, 670, Proshift, and never have had this issue. I agree with the above that it might be a delaminating issue or UV affecting the cement. I would ask for compensation, if you really love the camera, to pay for a repair, or just return it and find all the others without this issue.

My 2 cents,

Joel

Could it be due to something spilled on the back eye piece? Mine doesn't have a glass lens, and I can see how coffee or something could easily get in the viewfinder like you see. Just a thought.
