Please Don't Hate Me, But.....

I happen to live in Dallas, which is where the Wolf Camera clearance center is located. They have been empying all of their stores nationwide of all the delicious film cameras and sending them to Dallas for quick sale either heavily discounted in the store or on the Bay. Would you belive that when I walked in yesterday, they had just received a BRAND NEW IN BOX Mamiya 6 MF? I couldn't belive it either. So I tell them to hold it for me. I probably wasn't going to buy it, but I couldn't let it go either - I'm sure all of you understand.

Flash to tonight - my wife says, let try to make it before they close. And we do. So the manager is ringing it up and says that the camera is $509. HOLY COW!!!! I tried to explain to her what an enormous, monumental experience this was, but she just thinks I bought another camera. I don't mean to brag, I just needed to tell people that understand what a huge deal this really is.

Yes, that was quite the find. Heck, out here a used 6 goes for about $1600 & up. But then that's in Canadian Dollars. 😉
