On another website I saw a photo and this camera was one of the items on a desk. Enlarged it here. It’s embarrassing - never seen this before and I have no idea what this is. Checked Contax, Cosina, Rolleiflex, Voigtländer, Yashica… nothing.

Yes - by doing more web searching I see the Praktica / Jenaflex traits are there. I believe it is a Jenaflex AM-1. The AM-1 has that exact shutter dial, though there are variations on the exposure compensation dial and markings.
