This thread has some amazing, inspiring images in it. After two attempts at 4x5, one lackluster and one a miserable failure, I decided to give it another go. I dumped my last rig about a year ago but replaced it all recently. I took it out for a spin a couple weekends ago, and this is the first picture I took. I think I've got the hang of it now, and I'm looking forward to taking many more BIG pictures. Since some people have asked after seeing this, this is how the scene appeared when I stumbled on it.

This is my closing photo for my book Overlooked which I shot on Speed Graphic 4x5 with 135mm Graflex Optar lens and used a Leica M8 with DR Summicron as a "scanner."
