beautiful examples, everyone!
John, Akiva -- thank you for the answers re the framing.
Jeff -- was the infrared a filter or done in PP?
i know i was tempted by the 40/1.4 SC because of the beautiful colours, but i think i've got that in my new v.1 35/2 (seriously love this lens, but have yet to take a decent pic to show it off).
the 28/2 is very high on my lust list, desire. sharp but not clinically so and quite dreamy. i much preferred the look and handling of it versus the 28/2.8 when i was lucky enough to try both. not that i'm likely to ever be able to afford the Cron...
i'm loving the examples from the fast Canon lenses as well. seriously tempted by the 55/1.2 on ebay (from the other thread) but love the Sonnar copy as well... sigh.
anyone have examples from any longer lens as well? i'm trying to decide if i should look into a 75 or a 90...
