Pls help ID this lens

Hi All,
I ahve a 28/2.8 elmart that I "think" is a v4. Serial number 3608xxx has the cut out lens hood. According to the chart I found lens was made in 1992-1993. How can I tell if this is in fact a version 4?

Is it about the size of a 28 Summicron? I.e. about twice the size of the current 28/2.8 ASPH? Then it's a v4. The older versions are all considerably larger.
