After replacing the OS on my laptop (from Vista to Windows 7), the Plustek 7400 no longer works well. With Vuescan it makes the preview, but instead of saving the scan with my settings (usually 4800 for 35mm), the scanner provides a file of about 2.01 Mb (1258x838). During the preview, the lamp turns on and runs, but does not seem to do it during the scan, whose progression does not appear in Vuescan.
The scanner works with SilverFast SE and I also verified that Vuescan works with another scanner, Epson V600, so I suppose a problem with the installation of the Plustek drivers in Windows 7. I installed the updated drivers several times, downloaded from the site, but I could not solve the problem. I can use Silverfast, but I found Vuescan much better and fast
Can anyone give me some advice to try to solve ?

Did you write to Ed Hamrick (support at hamrick com?
Put "Vuescan problem with Plustek 7400" in the subject.
Hamrick will probably ask for a Vuescan.log

Thank you, Fernando. I'll contact Ed Hamrick if the problem occurs again after registry cleaning and reinstalling SW.
