Hey all,

Just want to start off by thanking everyone who helped me out with this scanner and everything else related. Just wanted to share some of the results taken with this scanner. I started a blog in which I will be posting 1 to 2 times a month on that will display photographs taken through my journeys through life. I always take my camera out with me and wanted to share my experienced with people. Everything is shot on my Zeiss Ikon ZM, VC color-skopar 35mm f2.5 PII, and shot on Ilford HP5 Plus 400. I developed it all in Ilford Ilfotec and Fixed with Ilford Rapid Fixer. You can view the images on my blog at http://blog.dwayneburgessphotography.com/ . Enjoy and feel free to leave comments. I'd love to see some of the work everyone else has as well.

Cheers,
Dwayne

damien.murphy thanks. I love the 7600. I scanned these at 72dpi for the blog view. I also archived a few in 3200dpi and 7600dpi. The results are very clean at it's full capicity "7600dpi" and even lower than that. As far as post processing I kept it simple because I don't like going over board. I just increased the levels a bit and saved for web. I plan on making some prints off some other negatives that I didn't scan yet.

Very nice Dwayne, I'm going to get the 7600 in a few days (maybe weeks as I'm moving house actually) and your blog is useful because I also shoot HP5 and use Ilford chemicals, but ID11 as my dev.

Look forward to hearing more

Cheers

Just a heads up of that the AI version of this scanner is on sale at B&H. I have no affiliation with them, but I did place an order for one.

Thanks mark, I scan onto my Mac Book Pro. The screen is pretty solid as it's the newer macs so I think i'm good to go. Gregoryniss thanks man. I'd love to come to WA. Some friends and I were talking about road tripping there but due to the gas expenses it might be a bit to much.
