Point and Shoot AF Classics - post yours

I've got a few too...

And probably the best of them all... the DL Super Mini, what an amazing lens...

I have both the Yashica T4 and Olympus Stylus Epic / MJU-II, but I WANT one of these things.

Fuji made some nice zoom lens P&S cameras in the 1990's with Super EBC coated lenses.

Discovery 290 Zoom/DL-290 Zoom:

Lens is a Super EBC Fujinion 38-90mm.

Itnterestingly it has the zoom wide/tele buttons on the front, next to the lens and the camera is powered on by a switch to the left of the the lens .

Here's a Chinon and a Ricoh-both with fixed focus lens-not much information on these 2 it seems.

Chinon Auto XG:

Chinon 35mm f4.5 lens. This is the blue colored model and the lens seems to be similar to the 35mm f4.5 lens in the Chinon Auto GL.

Built-in flash is activated using a switch under the flash and ISO 100/200 and 400/100 setting by a switch on the front.

Appears to be from the 1980's.

Ricoh YF-28 Super:

Ricoh 28mm "hybrid lens" f4.5.

Panorama mode (switch for this on the top) and fill flash can be activated by a button on the front.

Confusingly, there is also a similary named model called the Ricoh YF-28 (http://www.ricoh.co.jp/camera/cameralist/export/YF-28.html).

It too has a 28mm lens but is slower at f5.6 but has different styling compared to the YF-28 Super.

How fast is the Mini-Wide lens?

How fast is the Mini-Wide lens?

at the 28mm setting?

Sounds like a perfect travel camera when you want to go light.

Canon Prima Tele
aka Sure Shot Multi tele
aka Autoboy Tele 6

Don't know why it had not become another off-beat cult classic
but i LOVE this camera because:

1) it has the creepiest lens action: only pops out for 1/10000s (..sort of) when you press the shutter button, extremely hilarious.

2) it's a Full/Half frame twin format!! though you have to open the back cover to switch the selector, so you must pre-decide which format you want to shot.

Half Frame

Samsung AF Zoom 105s:
p5110002.jpg

Samsung 38-105mm zoom lens.

A Samsung camera with many features that include fuzzy logic,, bulb, continuous shooting, multiple exposure ,interval shooting, step zoom, portait zoom (focal length set to 38mm), macro and super macro, 2 seconds self timer, 2 & 10 seconds self timer, backlit LCD panel and a focus button for landscape photos (flash disabled). Built-in zoom flash (which zoom with the focal length of the lens).

These are also seen on some 1995-1999 Rollei Prego P&S cameras made for Rollei by Samsung (eg. Rollei X70)-at that time Rollei was owned by Samsung.

I also own a Samsung case for it-shown here:

The bag sort of resembles a SLR case.
