I'm buying a possibly broken Polaroid 120 scanner in the hope that something simple might bring it back to life. Does anyone know whether they can be repaired within the UK or Europe?

Is it a Microtek Artixscan 120tf in slightly different "dressing"? There seem to be more than a few DIY repair stories online, a few on this very forum. I'm guessing Microtek doesn't service older scanner such as this one anymore - I had to repair my Scanmaker 9800XL, an A3 flatbed, on my own. Finicky, but doable. Good luck.

It is the same poduct as the Microtek ArtixScan 120 tf.
I have had a problem with mine and I contacted Microtek Germany.
They said it depends on the problems if they can do something or not.
I think they now how to handle every problem but they do not have all parts anymore.
It might be a good idea to contact Microtek UK.
