Polaroid 600SE Polaroid back on a Mamiya Universal

Does anyone have actual knowledge or experience of fitting a Polaroid back designed for the 600SE onto a Mamiya Universal body?
Sellers on eBay are asking silly money for Polaroid backs designed for the Universal body but I know of a 600SE back that is available for a sensible price and am willing to invest in a Universal body if I know for sure it will fit, even if it means minor modifications.
I already have a Mamiya Press and suitable lenses so don't want to go down the 600SE route.
Alternativly does anyone have a Mamiya version of the Polaroid back for sale at a sensible price?

The only real difference is the claws. The MU ones are in a single piece, whilst the Polaroid ones are split into two halves a side. I am pretty sure the claws themselves can be swapped from one to the other.

not exactly on topic but as i recall it, only a small part of polaroid film will be recorded on.

That's with the Mamiya 645 pola back where you make a 6x4.5 photo on a 10x6 "negative". The 9x6 of the Press is a bit smaller but not that much.

I tought that was the difference between the Polaroid version of the Mamiya Press and the Mamiya version. The lenses covered better the slightly larger pola film. Can be wrong however.

Lens coverage was identical, FL for FL. The Polaroid bodies had slightly modified lens flanges and back fittings that blocked interchange with the Mamiya Universal. Polaroid only offered a limited set of lenses from the Mamiya line; ones that would cover the whole frame. The same lenses in their Mamiya version would covder the full Polaroid format when used on a Mamiya Universal. The Polaroid version of the body also had modified frame lines to reflect the larger format.
