Polaroid obsession!

Not sure if anyone knows this or not...if your into the alternative stuff, but there is a negative side to fuji 100C that has some cool effects. You can clear the negative with household bleach and get this effect...

or leave a bit of the 'black and get something like this...

Ok another question.

Is it possible to use a close up kit on the 1000 I have just bought?

Cheers

Here is a bonus camera I picked up yesterday for only £8.50!!

My white square lens one is still in the post...

Lovely pics!! Great tonal range. I have a cloud filter that helps bring out the sky.

Cheers

Thank you

Must admit the original print is a tad more contrasty. I scanned with an inverted S-curve, to draw down the highlights and the bring the shadows up. In effect decreasing contrast. A matter of taste really.

Here is mine with corrosion in flash batteries ...
first fujifilm 100b running on it...and yes I broke those springs near the timer...

this was taken witn the Nex5n w/rodenstock XR75mm f/1.1:cool:

Another nice 450. The flash stopped working in mine and I have narrowed the problem down to the ribbon cables inside the shutter running to the flash connector. Bit of a shame because it's impossible for me to repair myself, probably easier to buy another 450... Tempted with a 180 but to be honest I like the auto shutter speed.

Good looking camera. Funny, a year ago I would have Not looked twice at a Land Camera, now I find them beautiful.

My last effort met with a few issues:

Laying fiber (Ducatel) by Eirik0304, on Flickr

I learnt a few things today.

1. Even if Fuji pack films self terminate, it is prudent to separate the print from the negative before an hour is gone (see above). Even if it was 10 below.

2. Alkaline batteries in the Land camera give up within 10 minutes of being exposed to sub zero conditions. Must remember to get hold of lithium batteries.

3. Fiber-laying companies pay no attention to pedestrians, rather like car drivers. (Ducatel provide pipes for underground cabling)

Even if it suffers from a number of technical mishaps, I rather liked the result.

The heartbreak of 'roids is hitting me hard. I was doing fine using my grandfather-in-law's 230, then found a beautiful 250 for $2. Popped my 230 battery in there (no conversion), but all of my 250 shots (3000B) are coming out black. Compounded by wife's "whelp, there goes another dollar, and another dollar, and another..." :( I think my terminals might be a bit corroded.

I think you could run with this idea and do a shot where the print has an icy/frozen glaze on it.

Here's my most recent shot on PX680 gold frame. Pic taken with iPhone so not brill quality

I know it's an impossibility(!), but if these Impossible People were to release a film with a Positive/Negative feature, i'd buy a boatload of it. Actually, i don't even need the positive part. A negative-only instant would be aces. But, something without having to travel with a bucket and packets of chemicals when i travel.... Oh, well. A person can dream.
