Policy change regarding deletion of a post?

I went onto the edit mode on a post I made and found the "delete" option missing. Is this a server issue or a policy change?


Now see, I misspelled "regarding" (in the title) and want to repost with the correct spelling. But, I can't delete the original post?

yep,

members can edit posts,
but not delete posts or threads thanks to the recent (questionable) uproar.

That still leaves you the option of deleting all the content of your post.

We will try this for awhile and see how it works.
