I purchased a Porst CDS lightmeter to use with my FED 2 rangefinder camera. I am currently using the PX625 1.5v battery. As predicted the meter is reading high. Turning the calibration screw fully clockwise is giving readings that are close to those of my other cameras. However, I would like to mode the meter with the Zener diode insertion in the circuit so that I can use regular SR44 and similar batteries. My question is how do I open this meter without doing damage. Perhaps someone on this forum has been inside one of these or similar. I provide two photographs here.

I am not familiar with it, but it looks as if it might be a OEM sideline version of the Sekonic Micro Leader. If so, there will be screws hidden under black seals on the plastic side.

Yes, I had a look at the Sekonic Micro Leader and there are clear resemblances. On the plastic side there is one single screw which would appear to allow the black plastic side to be popped of. Does this seem a reasonable assumption?
