I don't see noise. I see some lovely portraits!
I've had 2 x LC1's and a Digilux 2. I sold the LC1's and kept the Digilux 2 (for the red dot I suppose) but in all honesty the LC1 feels better in the hand.
Like many others I don't think it imagination, I think that there is something special about LC1/Digilux2 files.
I agree with you regarding the camera. It is excellent even today. I went for the less expensive LC1 to try out this camera. The Digilux 2 costs more because it is a Leica and Leica used to replace for free failing sensors in it. This is not happening anymore, so the LC1 is now a better deal to get.
