This may be the only digital camera that is "colelctible".

I don't see noise. I see some lovely portraits!

I've had 2 x LC1's and a Digilux 2. I sold the LC1's and kept the Digilux 2 (for the red dot I suppose:eek:) but in all honesty the LC1 feels better in the hand.

Like many others I don't think it imagination, I think that there is something special about LC1/Digilux2 files.

I agree with you regarding the camera. It is excellent even today. I went for the less expensive LC1 to try out this camera. The Digilux 2 costs more because it is a Leica and Leica used to replace for free failing sensors in it. This is not happening anymore, so the LC1 is now a better deal to get.
 
The RAW images are the same for LC1 and Digilux 2, but the jpg versions (supposedly) are tweaked differently. It is claimed that people who like the Leica jpg look will like images from the Digilux 2.
