I put up a photo of this fellow when he was not well, dying of cancer. It was in B&W digital. Here Don is when he was in full health, part of a crew of five who lunched every Wednesday for years. Never an argument, not even a raised voice. And it was five folks with strong personalities. OK, here's Don in his prime.
Here's the gang, Don, Larry, John and Becky. All three of the guys have died. Becky is in an elder home. I'm still outrunning the Devil and confounding the actuaries.
And here is a girl who used to make my heart go pitty-pat, Britt-Marie. She was a Swede from Stockholm I met in Mexico. We were in Astoria "on vacation" from Mexico. Read her T-shirt. She had just bought it and was thrilled to death with it.
Posted recently on the Black and white photo thread but I think it sits well here too.
An environmental portrait of a singer at a pub. I was asked by a friend who knew this singer's mum, to attend so I got a chance to meet her and also sent her copies of shots taken after they were processed. She was very talented.
