It's a bit like defining the term 'art', about which there are endless discussions here on RFF. For my own work, I agree with the above, but accept broader definitions in the work of others....the most common differentiator between a "portrait" and a "street shot" is the connection between the subject and the artist.

This cute dental assistant was going to drape the protective lead-lined apron over me while taking a tooth x-ray. I told her that since I just had radioactive implants put in for prostate cancer, it might be better for HER to wear the lead apron. She took me seriously and put it on for the rest of my visit. Well, neither source of ionizing radiation fogged my film!

I love this, a Bond girl.
A super lens, this Zunow.
I never knew that the Zunow and the Nikkor are the same lens. I've hardly ever seen any results from the Nikkor. The one I remember, looked very different, bokeh wise.

Thank you very much, Erik.
Yes, there are different lenses, Zunow 5cm f/1.1 (9 elements 5 groups) was produced in 1953, then a few years letter in 1956 Nikkor produced 5cm f/1.1 (9 elements 7 groups). Both are super, rare and collectible lenses.
I sold this lens to JCH. Serial number 5518.
