The image was taken in 2010 so I have no direct recollection of a specific lens. But as a general proposition, back then I would almost certainly have been using a Leica Summicron 50mm f2 (Ver 4) which was my usual Leica M 50mm and this would account for its crispness. I can see I did apply a little blur to the background in post beyond what was naturally there from the lens so how much of this is attributable to the lens and how much to a touch of PP I cannot now say. But for me that is my "norm" - in that I usually will post process more or less in this manner.
