Some of us regularly post pics on W/NW threads - where are YOU?

I honestly never ever went there because I thought it was only for people in the West and North West of the US.

Big misunderstanding and entirely my fault that I never read the whole title or popped in.

I tried to post these last night and just as I pressed submit, the site disappeared. Anyway, first two from last weekend, RD-1 and Hexar RF (HP5) and third from two weeks ago - Bronica RF645 (HP5).

Gid

To put the image in your post, it has to be hosted elsewhere. Go to the advanced posting page and click the icon for img (it looks like a landcape photo icon). Alternatively, you could just type in the URL like ths:

*rick

Rick: You posted yours from Flickr, but that doesn't work when I try it...or at least it doesn't seem to work when I preview the post.
Does something special need to be done?

Wow! As you were clearly in the planes were you actually flying, or a passenger? If you were flying hope you kept your eye on what was going on LOL.

And now for a couple of pics taken with feet firmly planted...

The first is a sign I spotted just before Valentine's day offering roses at a 'bargain' price. The second is a night time picture of the Nat West bank in Birmingham, handheld I think too. Both on Fuji Neopan 1600 shot with Bessa L & 12mm Heliar.

Here are a couple that I took last weekend with my Zeiss Ikon Contina L. Not a rangefinder but it's a bit of a classic. Rod

Hmm.. Did you go to the "view all sizes" page? Each size has a URL below the photo to cut, paste and post elsewhere.

Well, for me recent can be anything up to a month ago as I tend to save up all my film and develop at once (and then it can take me a while to get around to printing). I've just added a couple to my still-meager gallery, but in the good natured spirit if this thread, here's one that's recent by my standards.

In the meantime I'll be looking at all these other posts, that'll also take some time as I'm on dial-up.

Isn't it great that RFF's working again?

It's so frustrating! Inspired by Andy's window shot I loaded the G1 with APX 400 packed my back and was ready to go when it started to rain, again!

I can't wait for the 10th when I fly to madrid.

Shot some downtown today with the IIIa. It appears that the shutter has a problem. I'm guessing the shutter cloth is worn thin and in higher light situations it becomes visible. You can see it faintly in the second image across the top. I will have to go back to this area again with more film. The place is called La Placita Villiage and it is a veritable rabbit warren of odd angles and interesting light situations. I will have to shoot some color film next time as well. The buildings have been painted in a rainbow aray of colors. The complex is three stories tall with interesting look out points on most of the upper stories.

Here's a few recent shots (digital though, sorry). These were taken in January at the Holden Arboretum.

The thumbnails display for pics posted in threads has been repaired. Members who have posted pics in the past couple of days, in which only the link icon appears, might want to edit the post to remove and reattach the pics, as this then makes the thumbnail appear. I just tried this on my shot of the railroad tracks (post 36), and it worked. 🙂
