I know this is mainly a picture thread, but I've got an issues with my SQ-Ai and thought I'd see if anyone here can help. I purchased new 120 back a while back and now it will not release from the body. I have tried taking off the plate on the bottom to manually release it, but that didn't work. In fact it seems as if the dark slide is in fact doing what it is supposed to. I have tried the lens release/back release buttons at the same time, no dice either. I'm at a complete loss here and really don't want to send it someplace to get it fixed if I don't have to. Any help would be much appreciated.

I recently had a problem with one of the backs for my etrsi , I was not really the same problem but it ended up with me not being able to get the back off . I had to open the back while it was still on the camera and take the film out I didn't like doing it but it did enable me to get the back off, it may not help but I hope it does.

Thanks for the reply, no dice unfortunately...hopefully my local shop can have a go at it, otherwise it looks like I will have to send it someplace.

Flying Bronica:

You are a braver man than I am. I always fly with cameras in hand luggage of course (not stowed luggage) and have a few times thought about getting out the S2 mid-flight when I've seen something interesting in or outside the plane. But in U.S.A. especially, I'm afraid the loud mechanical smack of the mirror/shutter actuation would have nearby passengers calling the crew and air marshals to see what sort of offensive weapon I've just loaded and cocked to hijack the plane. So I join the millions who've snapped sunset, thunderhead, and wingtip pictures with the iPhone...
