I have a Pentax 67 which has been my main (and only) medium format camera for years. A year ago I acquired the Bronica, and since then I've acquired 4 more medium format cameras 🙂
I have a good set of lenses for 67 so it remains my go to "serious" camera.
I bought the Bronica on a lark because it was only$200 and near mint. Over the past year, I've become immensely impressed with the Bronica and it's amazing Nikkor lens.
My Bronica, like most S2/S2A bodies, suffered from the shifted ground glass problem which caused the focusing to be inaccurate. Most of my photos with it were guess focused to a certain extent, but I think I've sorted that out.
 
Crikey, great color from the S2, Colton, and some of it with dodgy film! I think I've run a total of about three color rolls through mine in the three years I've had it, because I like processing my own film and I'm not set up for C-41. ("yet," should I add?). But every time I see pictures like yours, I kick myself for not doing enough color. See here for probably the best of the few color pix I've made. (Portra; I forget which speed, but I suspect 160.)

That's interesting because other than the T400CN test roll, I haven't shot a single roll of B&W with my S2.
That Kodak Vericolor was definitely old but it had been well stored so it worked fairly well. I had three rolls of which I shot two with my Bronica. I think I shot the second roll at 50 iso instead of 100 and it seemed better.
I love the colors I've been getting from the Nikkor-P 75/2.8

Today is my birthday so I figured it was fitting I should post a self portrait.
In living with ALS (or any terminal illness), one tends to think a lot about life, the meaning of life, and death and the meaning of death. When most humans face death, we hope that our life had some meaning and that some part of us will continue to live on after we are gone.
In the last year, I have somewhat unintentionally started taking more self portraits. I say somewhat unintentionally because obviously there is intention in taking any photo, but I never set out to actively take self portraits. I think partly I wanted to try and show what I go through to take any photo, and more importantly, I wanted more of a record of who I am.

Hi Colton, I think your selfportrait is really special: it goes far, very far. It isn't a simple image, stetich image, it has a great meaning and it is clear. Light in the darknes... and really well done.
