Funny, I was thinking how it looks the same so many years later! I guess there's still not enough water in that desert. It would probably evaporate a hundred gallons a day in the summer - 114+ degrees.
Damn glad I moved up here 20 years ago ~ ; - )

This is a very interesting conversation.

In the spirit of this thread, I dug up a 12 year old picture of myself getting ready to take the plunge with a borrowed Nikonos IIIa with 15mm lens and Ikelike strobe (with diffuser). I had a blast shooting underwater with this setup.

thanks for all the flowers 🙂 ... I like the death valley it was more impressing than most of the other NPs down there. It was a quiet place, but next time I would prefer to go there between january and march 🙂. I fear that next time will be far away (think the boys have to be a bit older, at the moment they're not interressted in landscapes).
