Hrm, I just got one of these to borrow and I can say, it's superb.
I just threw it on the wives NEX-3 and went snapping away, 400 ISO.

Just got mine today. it is what I thought - warmer and dirtier look than the Planar especially wide open and better built . from f 5.6 I can not see a difference. my Planar is now for sale
