DOF is a bit thin for my liking here (read: nothings in focus), but here's one for the folks who enjoy that sort of thing!

This is the photo that made me want a Hexanon M, Nigel.
Given the recent Planar thread, I'd like to see more Hex M 50/2 photos.
Any takers?
Wow, really like the look from this lens.

I really like this lens. I also put it on my wife's E-PL1 to shoot with a bit and the IQ is fantastic.
These shots are from my first few rolls through the Hexar RF with the 50 Hexanon f2. Films were Kodak Professional 400 C41 B&W, and Ilford XP2 400 C41 - you can probably guess which is which

** edit ** - possibly wrong thread here, was referring to 50/2.4 collapsible ltm hexanon, not the 50/2, which is a great lens by itself, but not bitingly sharp like the 2.4 ltm.
This is a great lens, best with film and/or rangefinders. With very accurate focusing, on a digital camera, you'll wish you had a strong AA filter on certain textures. Leica (and some others) never expected one to be using a lens that resolved like this one.

Enjoy Life.
I have to navigate away from this thread before my unnatural affinity for 50's makes me do some shopping. Nice example shots everyone!

I recently purchased a Hexanon 50/2 from somebody here on RFF and I just got it in the mail today. I'm really surprised at how well built the lens is - much better than Zeiss or Voigtlander, IMO.
I can't wait to start using it!
