I noticed there is a slightly different perspective for each photo, similar to a stereo photo. And indeed, when I look at these through my 100 year-old stereo viewer pushed up against the screen, I get an imperfect but perceptible 3-dimensional effect! Amazing. This must be the first stereo image ever produced by a digital phone / pinhole film camera combination... well done!

Thank You Shab/Xabier
Your last photo post makes great use and Beauty of the grain... permeating, unifying the Image from edge to edge

21 rocks... 28mm I cannot seem to wrap my head around

Thanks Helen! Yes I understand you, for me, 21mm rocks!

First Assignment by Narsuitus, on Flickr

My first assignment as a newspaper photographer was to shoot the grand opening of an Ethan Allen furniture store. I could not capture the image I wanted because at that time, I only had a 200mm telephoto lens and a 50mm normal lens. A chaperone mirror helped me get the wide-angle subject coverage I needed.

I was pleased that my city editor was pleased with my image.

I immediately invested in a wide-angle lens.

This image was shot on Kodak Tri-X with a 50mm lens on a Miranda Sensorex 35mm SLR in the summer of 1968.

Yeah, 50mm can be a bit of a challenge to use indoors, I've noticed, I seem to be able to use it more successfully outdoors.

I still don't own any lens wider than 50 though ;)

Probably should get a Jupiter 12 at some point, but I only see them in Contax mount.

Also great work Helen! You've truly mastered the art of the image - creating the "assertive" image which grabs your attention or piques your imagination in some way.
