We had a terrible barn fire in town the other day. 12 horses and 2 family dogs died in the flames. I went to document it because it was sort of a local landmark. I brought my Canon 6d and Eos 1v along with the 35L/50L/135L because they are the cameras I trust in that situation. Here are some from the 1v

HP5+ ei1600, Ilfotec HC 1+47, 9 min. I botched the processing (didn't label the film and it got mixed up with another batch) but the grittiness sort of works here.

Actually - you may have got the processing times off, but what you did get are immensely powerful images. Well done - they are absolutely stunning!

Thank you. You may be right. I think I preserved highlights better at this development time than if I would have let it run too much further. That’s the joy of film in very difficult lighting. Never know EXACTLY how the light will react to the silver. I still have 3 rolls to develop, so may add 20% time on the next batch. This canister got mixed in with some vacation rolls shot at 400. Comparing the film to the 6d shots, the film though technically inferior has so much more feeling and atmosphere than the digital.

Pan, many thanks.
Ccoppola82, I agree about those images. Stunning.
