Post Your Film Images Here

This is kinda cross posted from the Zeiss Contax month thread.

Long story made short... I recently ran across an immaculate Contax IIIa with a Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar T 50/1.5, and the price was such that I couldn't not buy it :)
Even though I haven't had the strength to go out and take photos for nearly a year now, when the camera arrived I forced myself to go out around the neighborhood and try to shoot some test shots. It took over a week for me to recover, but I did it and got a few shots with my new camera.
Unfortunately, the roll of film I chose was some expired Kodak MAX 400 that really hadn't aged well, but it was good enough to show that for the most part, the camera works properly.

Here's one of the shots from the outing...
Some here may remember that a wildfire went through my town last September. There is still a lot wreckage and fire debris around from the fire. My house was thankfully okay, but this photo was taken a block away from my house.

From my Bronica RF645 days, when I thought nothing of seeing what might happen if I tried photographing a landscape at 60mph through the passenger window.

HP5, probably 1/500 f8. I could have pulled over further up the highway and made a cleaner storm image, but those trees would have been lost.

Truly inspired, your effort Colton. Amazing what a camera (and some inner spirit) can muster. Being up north of you I was very aware of the fire in Talent. Horrible and you're being a block away puts it into perspective. What a community you all have there. Thanks for sharing.

In a rush to get camera out and make an exposure, and focused on the Leger poster, I neglected to place the accordian up on the sofa!

Thank you David. Talent is a wonderful community, and will bounce back from the fire.
