Post Your Film Images Here

Hi John, how many ml of HC110 do you put per 300ml? I use 6ml for 9 mins.

Hi Pan. I figure using a little more chemistry gives more tolerance for measuring error with this sticky stuff. So I use 7ml and 420 water for 1:60. HC-110 is so cheap I don't mind.

I use dilution H for a similar reason. I tried B a few times but everything seems more critical at 1:31 and five minutes.

With my 11 min. I agitate four gentle rotations on the minute. How about you? I like low contrast and particularly value the whites.

Maybe I'll try your formula. Dilution P(an) ? :p Your processing always looks good.

I'm a fairly recent returnee to film and am enjoying finding my way.

Thank you for the information John - I noticed I wrote it wrong above: it is 8mins not 9. Here is a copy-paste from my file

HP5+ rated at 400 in HC-110

Dilution 1:50. (6ml developer in 294ml of water)
Overall time: 8mins 00 sec,
Chemicals temperature: 20oc
30sec continuous initial agitation.
3 gentle invertions every minute

It gives a bit of a flat negative but there is a lot of leeway for adjustments on GIMP.

Last weekend we experienced a wonderful 'February Fake-out' (a collection of unseasonably warm weather days in the middle of winter). It was in the upper 60's on the Oregon coast...a feat that it can barely match in the middle of summer.

Very nice pictures! Hard to believe that they are developed in Rodinal, but the wonders are not over yet.

Erik.
