Thank you, Darya. It's a cemetery with a high number of infant graves, which affects me deeply, all the more because so few of the parents are buried there. As though they had to leave to stay alive themselves. Shooting there is a form of prayer, I feel. I certainly do a lot of kneeling and bowing close to the viewfinder or in this case LCD...
U can always do a multi frame stitch to simulate a wide for static objects. Anyway, even though I have the dp1m, I tend to use it and the gr closer to a 35fov since I often crop the image. In fact, a lot of times, I have a 35 brightline on my dp1m instead of a 28.
Just got my DP2M today🙂
charged the batteries, went outside and the first image is the one I'm posting.....i just converted the raw to jpg, thats it, no PP whatsoever.
the aussie sun is harsh, today was 105.8 (for you northerners😀)
.
Lovely quick Portrait 'fireblade'...
Congrats on getting the 2M
Mine is going back to Japan today ...:bang: 😡
For repairs
Sometimes the shutter button won't fire when pressing half down to focus
Or while focusing the camera freezes on the Image
And i have to take the Battery out to get the camera working again
BUMMED but will be Happy upon its return
Now I'm backi to shooting film for Chinese New Year festivities....kind if a drag since I got hooked on 'Instant Gratification'
'Instant Photos'... Damn just when I was having FUN
The Good News Matsuiyastore in Japan is a Pleasure to deal with, offering me a Full Refund
Though I chose to have it repaired under its Warranty or another new one
