Sometimes the shutter button won't fire when pressing half down to focus
Or while focusing the camera freezes on the Image
And i have to take the Battery out to get the camera working again
BUMMED but will be Happy upon its return

Now I'm backi to shooting film for Chinese New Year festivities....kind if a drag since I got hooked on 'Instant Gratification'

The Good News Matsuiyastore in Japan is a Pleasure to deal with, offering me a Full Refund
Though I chose to have it repaired under its Warranty or another new one

What a bummer,.. Hope u get it back soon..

I have only had this happen due to the buffer cache filled up and I had to wait for the shots to write to flash. I have missed some shots due to this :(

Information on Sigma/Foveon from SD15 to SD1M

Information on Sigma/Foveon from SD15 to SD1M

This is my second post... one on the other Sigma DSLR thread. Please pardon the duplication.

I was very interested in the Foveon sensor and the SD15 camera, but the wait for the SD15 wore me out, and I made another move.

Then I started seeing information on the Merrill name (for the late designer of the foveon sensor as I understand it).

Sparked my interest again in Sigma. I used to shoot the Sigma film SLR's years ago.

I need to catch up on the foveon/Sigma Merrill inforation. Particularly interested in seeing where the SD15 which is available all over eBay transitioned to the SD1M.

Can anyone point me to a forum, blog or review site so I can play catchup on the Foveon Sigma Merrill evolution.
