Hahaha, I actually cannot tell if that is supposed to be a funny joke, or a serious question! Nice!
It was taken with the sometimes-neglected DP1M. I was trying to go with, instead of "fix", the innate magenta/green moods of the Foveon sensor.

BEautiful shot!!!
Thanks!
I tried this one in both Lightroom and in SPP. Not a rigorous comparison by any means, but in this case was surprised to find I liked the SPP version better.

Inspired by what you've been posting, I'll admit that I've tried it in just the same fashion here in Lyon. To be honest, I'm ready to blame the city as much as my stunted imagination, haha, for my meagre results.
I too have been inspired by his (bk1970) postings. Feeling depressed and rundown as though my mindless midsuburbia is completely shot out ... I turned inwards a bit and have started doing some abstract work. Places I have walked a thousand times seem new and refreshing now. Scouting has been with my Nex and newly acquired Sigma 30/19 combo. I just love it. Hopefully, it will help me to dust the DP2M off and get back out with it! This new "I was Here" series is fantastic!

I've had some problems with banding on blue sky on the DP1M even in broad daylight. Workarounds have included adding vignette or simply cropping out.
Here are a couple of examples
This one had banding in the blue sky in the upper right corner and magenta tint on clouds in upper left. I post-processed to darken the sky and cropped out most of the parts with banding and magenta.

The thing about Blaz's approach here, aside from being obviously productive, is you start to see what is actually around you rather than that constant search for the golden environment. I've tended to do this a lot throughout my photographic journey and Blaz's work is a healthy reminder that all you need is a decent camera, a pair of legs and some imagination.

I'm afraid not, those are going from job to job.
Just a poor writer/director... :bang:

Some work better in b&w and some in colour. Uniformity be damned.

Some of mine, from old used and abused DP2s, bent, dented and screws missing, but still shoots. It was with me on my motorcycle expedition through Middle-East and all Africa, one brave little digital camera I used for documenting.
Wish I could afford Merrill, but as of now I'd rather invest this huge amount of money it into MF film if I had it available.
Cheers,
Margus
