Post your foveon DP & SD1m Images

Yeah.. Spring is here :). After such a weird winter for those on the eastern portion of North America, I am sure u guys could use nice weather.

I purchased a second hand Sigma DP1s last week, to check out the Foveon sensor. This is the first time for a long period that I actually get excited with a digital camera. My main camera system these days is the Pentax 67ii and lenses, which I thoroughly enjoy learning how to master. I also have several Pentax DSLRs, and I now am starting to understand the "Foveon vs Bayer" discussion. For the little Sigma, all I can say is wow !!!

DP3M in the Letterfrack Industrial School Cemetery. If you don't know the story of this cemetery please read it. It's important to know and remember.

Thanks Dan and Gary!

I find the images that I get from the little Sigma are very close to my scanned film images. The images are very sharp, but more importantly, there is something very "realistic" (in lack of a better term) about them. Images of birch leaves, for example, look like they do in reality, the same thing with clouds and water. I am so intrigued by this little black box, that I am tempted to acquire a DP2 Merrill while they still can be found new.
