...often shooting the GXR now in twin-lens style--VF turned vertical, 1:1 format. (Makes it easier to transition to Autocord & Rolleiflex, and gives me a digital approximation of 6x6.)

I like this 'bother'! :)
Nice pix, Andreas!

thank you very much Godfrey. So now I have it! I provoked a response, and now I must see to it that I can keep it up ;)

please keep bothering me ;-) Nice pictures! The GXR is such a gem

I shall try :)
The GXR feels very good, I use it quite a bit more than my other cam, a NEX5n, although the Sony has a less noisy sensor and goes higher ISOs..and is faster ;)

Another few nice ones, Andreas.

The first one, however, has a bit of a problem in the upper-right sky area. I think the curve has gone a little flat there and could be improved upon.

very atmospheric Robert, specially like the first one. very funny! - and good to know that I am not the only one here still using the GXR M and posting here :)

thank you Godfrey for the observation I am very grateful for any hint that may help me to improve. I am not so experienced PPing, only lately dare to try out more. For that shot I simply may have downed the highs to get some detail in the sky, guess that made it too flat. Just tried another go:
