A lot of people don't like square but it's my favorite format for most shooting.

Tried it one time and it was so sharp as to be hideous. 150 lens
Got out my diffusion screen and used it for 25% of the enlarging exposure.
Hassy soft focus #1 is far stronger, but it has applications. Forget the correct term for it, but it is plastic with bubbles and very soft.
