kuvvy, that's the coolest gig I've ever seen. Straight out of a movie... I wish I were there! Kinda reminds me of the club at the end of Kill Bill, 'cept a lot more western. Great photos btw, maybe the best I've seen all day!

Thanks for your appreciation Patrick. It was a super day. There were people dressed in clothes of the era, classic cars, DJs and the band. They were the Crown Top Kings and were superb. They do have a website of their own if you wanna here some of their music. Also my Flickr stream has more shots from the day. The event will be held again next Easter Sunday which will be the 10th anniversary of the event.

Love it! Gorgeous engine.
Indeed! Just got mine in January this year after being on Beemers slightly too long.

@Photon42 - nice... an unusual kind of self-portrait in the chrome reflection, and the "All roads lead to Rome" shot is fun.
@smbilgin - I enjoyed your Istanbul series... you've used the x10 to good effect here.
Thanks - the Rome sign posts aren't photoshopped, actually. I came by this T-crossing with my 96 and had to laugh so badly that I had to stop. Someone has a good humor in that jerkwater town.

i bumped into an old acquaintence
Who was toting the Xpro1 and the X10
So needless to say I got to Play
Even though it's a smaller sensor
I Thought I much preferred it
To the X100 ....
I Loved the X10 in fact ....Tres cooool that the lens does 28,35,50,110
Fun straight forward no nonsense digi ...
Not too expensive, easily portable with an M body ...hmmmmmm
Indeed. No framelines, so for tracking out of frame action use your second eye. But I really like the Ten. Would never buy a camera without a eyelevel finder. I also like to use it along with a film camera for the things the film camera cannot do easily, so also the different focal lengths come in handy.

I like your black n'whites, Maggie. The macro function isn't too bad, right?

Something I like about the X10 is that the film emulation options really do look like Astia, Provia, and Velvia!
I've had mine for a little while now, and I think I have a few shots good enough to post:
Red Awning, Crowne Plaza
Entrance, Crowne Plaza Hotel
OK One more, and I think I'm done for now:
Desert Peace. From my Rose garden.
