I got some useful info from another forum. Yeah yeah, the battleground.
So here's some settings to get very nice results. Med file size, DR 400. I use M mode and Auto ISO 3200. Amazingly at 3200 the camera shines. No real good RAW support yet but I'm hopeful.

In addition to the stellar OOC B&W JPEGs, I've found that the color JPEGs from this camera are fantastic for Silver Efex Pro 2 B&W conversions, too.

Ain't that the truth..... I do the color jpegs with zero settings. This gives what I call a flat image. When you go to do PP work then you have more latitude both ways for working....

Outstanding camera for jpegs. I did some at ISO 3200 and the noise just isn't there....unreal!
