One from a series I'm making. They're all views of my part of the planet (San Francisco Bay Area) from a commuter train window. I've posted more of these in my Critique/Salon forum thread "My Photo Diary".

The warm morning sun hits the peak of Mt Whitney turning the rocks bright orange for only a few seconds before they resort back to their cool color as seen in the shadows

Took my X100 on a 5 day trip to Manhattan as my only "serious" camera, it did pretty well although I had forgotten how glacial the AF was, so was zone focussing a lot of the time:

I love this camera but use it mostly for private stuff. I think the 12MP sensor of the first version has something special.
