That is absolutely stunningly gorgeous. The early bird really got that worm!

This is a great image! Was there any kind of processing or effect applied in or ooc? It looks like a watercolor rendering.
Thanks, and thanks to you too, Maggie.
Not really any special effects. It was a raw shot, developed in LR and PS. I jacked it up a bit to overcome the dusky predawn light.
Some of the effect may come from the fact that it was taken through dirty double-paned glass from a moving train, part of a project I'm near completing. I'm noticing that these circumstances are giving some interesting results.

christer, that bow shot is fantastic.
I would agree. The water splash is the icing on the cake. Without wanting to detract from this unusual and well taken shot, the X100 delivers what I see in my mind, and then more, in buckets. Only my Rolleiflex can compete with it in my film world.
A veritable classic in the making.

Yep, the light always wins and what a beautifully surreal image. A touch of Edward Hopper.

I can't remember whether I posted it in this thread (forgive me if I did, as it is hard to confirm) but this is my own fav. X100 shot so far.
